The City of Oakland Park aims to transform City-owned property in Downtown Oakland Park. Through this redevelopment project, the City will develop a mixed-use hub that includes high-quality residential, innovative commercial, a commuter train stop, living streets, urban green-space, and public parking. Adjacent to the existing Development opportunity, Oakland Park has been recommended by the FDOT Technical Analysis team as the next commuter rail stop north of Fort Lauderdale. This RFP is now closed. Proposals are under review for award.

The City is aggressively supporting redevelopment with incentives through the City’s CRA, making it easier for businesses to locate and quality investors to develop in Oakland Park.
Project to be constructed a block away from Funky Buddha Brewery. The 54,000 sq-ft facility is powered by a 30-barrel, three-piece brewhouse, which feeds nearly 45,000 BBLs of capacity. Funky Buddha attracts over 180,000 visitors a year to the City of Oakland Park.
